What is Pink Dot?

Pink Dot is a free, fun carnival and outdoor concert organised for LGBTI+ and their allies, families, friends, and colleagues in support of diversity and love equality.

Where is it being held?

Pink Dot 2017 will be held at West Kowloon Nursery Park. Same as in 2016

At what time does Pink Dot starts and finishes?

Pink Dot will start at 1pm and will finish at 8pm.

How do I get there?

By MTR

  • Exit from MTR Kowloon Station Exit E4 or E5, walk through Nga Cheung road and cross the footbridge, you will reach Pink Dot within 10 minutes.
  • Exit from MTR Austin Station Exit D2, followed by a 20-minute walk to Pink Dot. However, due to road works around Austin Station, we strongly recommend you to choose other routes.

By Bus

  • KMB: Take bus route No. 215X, 261B, 281A or 215P and get off at the Austin Road West bus stops, followed by a 5-minute walk to the West Kowloon Nursery Park; for route No. 8, 11, 280X or 203E, get off at the Nga Cheung Road bus stops, followed by a 10-minute walk to the he West Kowloon Nursery Park.
  • Cross harbour bus (via Western Harbour Crossing): Take route No. 904, 905, 914, 930, 934, 935, 948,962B, 962X, 967, 968, 969, 970, 970X, 971or 973 and get off at the toll plaza bus stops of the Western Harbour Crossing, followed by a 5 – minute walk to reach the West Kowloon Nursery Park.

By Minibus

  • Green minibus: Take route No. 77M and get off at Austin Road West, followed by a 5-minute walk to reach the West Kowloon Nursery Park; for route No. 26 or 74, get off at the Kowloon Station Public Transport Interchange, followed by a 15-minute walk to reach the West Kowloon Nursery Park via MTR Kowloon Station or Lin Cheung Road.

By Car

  • The West Kowloon Cultural District car park will be closed during Pink Dot. We  suggest to use public transport or park your car in nearby carparks (Kowloon MTR station or Elements).

By Taxi

  • Taxis will not be able to park at theWest Kowloon Nursery Park. Ask the driver to drop you off at the MTR Kowloon Station
Can I bring my dogs?

Yes, all pets are welcome! There will be a Pet Zone with local rescue organisation LAP. 

Do I have to pay for entrance fee?

There is no entrance fee to enjoy Pink Dot.

Do bring some money, we will be selling food, drinks, merchandises and other items You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.

What should I bring?

Bring comfortable shoes and clothing. It can get hot. We ask you to dress in pink and bring your best smile.

Where does the donated money goes to?

All the money raised goes to the Pink Dot expenses and to bring a bigger and better event in 2018.

What if it rains?

What is the dress code?

Dress in pink to show that you support Love and Diversity. We encourage you to dress in fun – pink – costumes too!

About The Pink Dollar Card

Where can I buy the Pink Dollar Card?

Due to new venue policy, we are not allowed to give away free food or drinks. This means that we will have more food and drinks to choose from, less lines and stands open the entire event.

To make things easy, we will be able to purchase stored value ‘Pink Dollar Card’ at stations around the event and top up at any time during the day. All add value stations accept cash, credit card and EPS.

Can I refund Pink Dollar Card money?

You can refund your card at any time during the day and after the event.
